Ex-Governor Godswill Akpabio Discharged From Hospital After Auto Crash

Following a auto crash involving his convoy earlier today, August 31, Akwa Ibom state former governor and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has been discharged from the National Hospital, Abuja.

Akpabio was said to have sustained injuries in the crash, but the extent of the damage was not ascertained.

Report said he left the hospital at about 5:10pm in company of his successor Udom Emmanuel, who assisted him down the stairs and helped him into the front seat of his official car.

Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji and the Executive Secretary of the National Christian Pilgrims Commission, John Kennedy Opara, were also said to have witnessed Akpabio's discharge from the hospital,

The ex-governor was involved in an accident which occurred near Bolingo Junction, close to the Ship House, Abuja.
