Cop Who Shot Woman Dead In Alimisho Has Been Dismissed

The policeman, Aremu Musiliu who killed a woman in a tricycle on Wednesday in Alimosho, with her husband still battling a bullet wound on his neck at a Lagos hospital has been dismissed from the Nigerian police force and was yesterday arraigned before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrate court on two counts of murder and causing grievous body harm.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, who also confirmed the development, said the suspect’s excuses for misusing his firearm were untenable, hence his dismiss and arraignment.
