Armed Robbers Invades Bank In Kogi State Carting Away With N25m Naira

Suspected daredevil armed robbers Wednesday invaded a popular bank in Ogaminana, Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, killing four persons. 

It was gathered that the incident which occurred at about 10am, saw the heavily armed men killing two policemen and two members of staff of the bank. The robbers also carted away about N25m, said to be the salaries of the workers of the local government.

It was reported that the hoodlums in a bid to scare people, shot sporadically as they took off from the bank. Confirming the incident, the Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Williams Aya, said no arrest had been made, but vowed that the perpetrators would be brought to book by the command.
