A Brief Open Letter To Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Of Abia State

Read this interesting piece written by Okumen. He commended the governor for the transformation in Abia State and urged him to do more. Read what he has to say.

COMMENDATION FOR YOUR MARVELOUS ACHIEVEMENTS AND APPEAL TO RECALL THE REMAINING SACKED NON INDIGENES IN ABIA
I wish to sincerely commend you on all your laudable achievements thus so far and wish you good luck and God's grace in your remaining years as you transform Abia State Nigeria to a citadel of excellence.
However, I wish to state categorically that contrary to some media report that ALL non indigenes SACKED by your predecessor T. A Orji have been recalled, SOME OF THEM are yet to be recalled and THOSE ALREADY RECALLED, we heard are yet to be paid fully or have only received about 1month salary or so until now.
I appeal to you sir, to kindly and VERY URGENTLY look into this ugly situation and ensure ALL Non indigenes CALLOUSLY SACKED by your predecessor are fully reinstated, those who have retired while at home MUST ALSO BE REINSTATED, formally retired, given gratuity and placed on pension.
The sack was abysmal, highly regrettable, deplorable, unfathomable, utterly despicable, and some affected including some couples have even died from undue hardship.
Maybe their families could be compensated by your good government.
I once again pray God protect you, bless you and give you the wisdom and managerial expertise to lead Abia to greater height. Amen.
