85-year-old Janabai Sakharkar of Maharashtra, filed a complaint with the police, saying that her stepson identified as Suresh, taught the parrot to curse her every time she passed his house.
The police, summoned everyone involved to the police station, including the pet parrot identified as Hariyal. At the police station, Hariyal seemed calm and did not utter a word despite the presence of Sakharkar.
According to the police investigation, the elderly woman is involved in a dispute over property with her stepson. Police decided to detain the parrot despite the opposition of Suresh.
The parrot was handed over to the Forest Department for rehabilitation.

I keep seeing recycled story each time i come by. Some times even the link from the site copied from is not removed.
