Mr. Ban Ki-moon United Nations (UN) Secretary-General is to visit Nigeria from August 23-24, 2015, a statement from the Public Communications Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, has said.
The statement added that Ki-moon would have a dialogue and dinner with state governors under the theme, “Pathways to a new Nigeria: Role of Sub-National Governments,” including the laying of wreath to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the Boko Haram attack on the UN House, Abuja, during the visit.
The highpoint of the visit, according to the statement, would be his meeting with the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Mr. Muhammadu Buhari which would be rounded up with a joint press conference.
