Protest In Delta Over Inhuman Treatment By The Police (See Photos)

The people of okere-Urhobo took to the street yesterday in protest over the inhuman treatment and steady raid against its indigenes by the DPO in "B" Division at Avenue, Okumagba Estate Warri, Delta State.

It was revealed that since the resumption of the DPO in the area the community has been going through unlawful raid or the other and extortion from the people.

It was also understood that even residents in the area could not go out freely to do normal business. Once it is 5pm the DPO and his men will start raid from Estate roundabout through the layout to airport road.

They are calling on Government to call on the DPO in the area to order and stop the unfair treatment on the people.
