This Is Terrible! Pastor Jailed For Refusing To Wed Gay Couples In The USA

Following the recent Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision ruling that states must allow gay-marriage in the US, a pastor has been jailed for refusing to wed gay-couples in Vermont, USA. Paul Horner, a 56 year old pastor has been sent to a Federal prison. 

Many Christians across the US, have been against the gay-marriage law as they have refused to be part of it.

According to Tom Downey, Horner’s attorney, he said; ‘we are currently disputing the guilty verdict and I am confident my client will be a free man here shortly’. He went on to say Horner was just using his best judgement according to his rights and religious freedom in his country.
