JUST IN: Bomb Blast Rocks Crowded Sunday Market In Damaturu This Morning, At Least 11 Dead

A bomb blast rocked a crowded market in Damaturu this morning, killing at least 11 people and injuring dozens. According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred at around 9.30 a.m. Security personnel were seen evacuating corpses and the injured when this report was filed.

Security operatives at the scene of the explosion included soldiers, policemen, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps and Nigeria Fire Service.

This comes six days after a suicide bomber killed three policemen at a checkpoint on the outskirts of the city, which is the capital of Yobe State.

  2. Am really shock n dissappointed with our arm forces n paramilitary ....I mean,,uptil now they hv not been able to notice areas we are vulnerable n this guys are hiting us were we are most vulnerable...crowded area....God help us

    1. I don't know y and how dey reason, though ds attacks re unpredictable, but market areas, Infact crowded areas should b avoided, our military and paramilitary re being defensive, instead of offensive, ds blood shed is too much
