Kaduna State governor Nasir el-Rufai has approved the appointment of Mallam Aliyu Muhammed Salisu as his Special Assistant on Persons with Disabilities. This was contained in a press statement issued by his media aide, Mr Samuel Aruwan, in Kaduna today.
According to the statement, Salisu, who hails from Sabon Gari, Zaria, holds a Diploma in Special Education from the Kaduna Polytechnic and another Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He is a member of the National Association of the Blind and has worked at the Kaduna State Rehabilitation Centre, the statement read.
