Nigerian Okwudili Ayotanze, is among the first drug traffickers that would be executed in Indonesia in less than 72 hours. Already, 7 coffins have been laid out with the date of execution '29.04.15' written in white ink and the letters 'RIP'. The 72 hours deadline was also confirmed by Utomo Karim, the lawyer of the Nigerian in death row Nigerian Raheem Agbaje Salami. He said;
‘Each convict on death row was called in one by one, for between 30 minutes to one hour, it varied,’ Mr Karim said. My client (Nigerian Raheem Agbaje Salami) was notified of the day of the execution, it will be (just after midnight on) Tuesday night.’

ReplyDeleteReally terrible....we need to hv strong laws too to deal with foreigners that misbehave also....this is really worrisome,,am hoping world powers will put pressure on asian govt to reconsider death sentence as penalty for drugs related offence...
