Kano state governor Musa Kwankwaso yesterday visited three Kano Pillars FC players, who are currently on admission at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, as a result of an attack by gunmen in Kogi State, on their way to Owerri, Imo State for a match with Heartland FC on March 5.
The victims Adamu Murtala, Gambo Muhammad and Otakpa Oneji were shot by the robbers but the bullets have been excised at the hospital. The governor promised that the state government would shoulder the hospital bills.
