Road To 2015: PDP’s 16 Years Rule In Nigeria Is A Disaster – Buhari

Presidential candidate of the All progressive congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) declared in Yola Monday that the (16) sixteen years rule of the PDP led federal government is a disaster to the country.

He declared that since the emergence of PDP in the helm of affairs of the Nation. Since 1999, the country has witnessed the downward trend in all spheres of human endeavours.

General Buhari, who spoke at Adamawa APC Presidential campaign rally at the Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola stated that worst hit in the federal government failure is insecurity, economy, education, provision of employment for the teeming youths and the dearth of our industries.

The APC presidential flagbearer added that the unemployment rate has driven Nigerian youths into forced labour in overseas countries, including smaller neighboring African nations.

He promised to improve agriculture, energy, education sector, security and infrastructure to give employment to the teeming unemployed youths in the country, vanguard reports.

General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) told supporters of the party to make it mandatory and secure their permanent voters cards (PVC) advising that is their weapon of sending the PDP led government out of power.

Earlier, former vice President Atiku Abubakar remarked that the huge crowd that turned out to receive the APC flagbearer is an indication that PDP is only existing temporarily in Adamawa state.

He declared that he is convinced beyond doubt that APC will form the
government in Adamawa state and the National level come May 29th 2015.

The former vice president regretted that PDP bequeathed the legacies left to it by its founding fathers, saying that the trend has forced the notables to abandon the party due to its lack of internal democracy.

The National chairman of APC, Chief John Odidie Oyegun presented the Adamawa governorship candidate of the party, Senator Umaru Jibrilla Bindow with the party’s flag.

He urged supporters of the party nationwide to conduct themselves peacefully during the campaigns, the elections and after the elections.

Top notchers of the party from across the country attended the rally which is the 33rd of the presidential rally so far held by the APC.
