President Goodluck Jonathan has listed former Defense Minister Musiliu Obanikoro and 7 others for ministerial slots.
The list which was read in the floor of the senate as approved by the president has the following nominees;
Patricia Akwashiki (Nasarawa)
Augustine Akobundu (Abia state)
Fidelis Nwankwo (Ebonyi)
Hauwa’u Lawan (Jigawa)
Musiliu Obanikoro (Lagos)
Kenneth Kobani (Rivers) and
Joel Danlami Ikenya (Taraba)
The positions became vacant following resignations of some ministers in October 2014 to pursue political ambitions. Obanikoro is the only minister who was re-enlisted.
