Police Public Relations Officer DSP Haruna Mohammed confirmed the incident to news men in Bauchi. He identified the suspect as one Matthew Asten, 25, who hails from Plateau state.
He said he was arrested in women attire spotting weave on at the mobile round about along Jos road in Bauchi.
Mohammed said the suspect was about to be lynched by a mob when he was rescued by the Police.
He said the suspect was being investigated for his motives. Biko,when has being a cross dresser become an offense in Nigeria?

ReplyDeleteI don't know what has become of some people's mentality. Everything is wrong with being a dress cross-over, how can a normal thinking male dress like a woman, it not modest.
ReplyDeleteAnd also, at this period of the nation where ladies are being used for bombings and other nefarious activities, it is suspicious for a guy to dress like a lady. Many at-times, men who do that have been caught to be thieves, who lure male counterpart just to swindle them.
