Ex Cameroon Player Valery Mezague Dies At 30

Former Portsmouth and Cameroon midfielder Valery Mezague was found dead in his Toulon apartment on today Nov 15 aged 30. A spokesman for the Toulon prosecutor`s office says "an autopsy will take place on Monday, but at the moment we don`t believe the death to be suspicious."

Until his death, Valery had been playing with Sporting Toulon in the French fifth division. He has also played seven times for Cameroon and featured for a number of French league clubs including Montpellier and Sochaux. He was also on a loan with Portsmouth in England in 2004-2005.
