Checkout The House where General Buhari Was Born (See Photos + Meet His Sister)

Its is no longer news that General Muhammadu Buhari was elected President of Nigeria on Tuesday. Many across northern Nigeria, especially in Daura his birthplace, have been celebrating ever since.

BBC's Abdullahi Kaura Abubakar visited the very house where Gen Buhari was born and here are photos which truly reflect Buhari's humble beginnings. His relatives still live there.

Gen Buhari's sister Rakiya Amadodo Muhammadu, who says she's excited and elated that he's been elected president of Nigeria.
BBC's Abdullahi also chatted with Buhari's best friend Alhaji Lawal Aliyi.

    That's what life is all about...sure every man has a story to tell...this is GMB own...hope he had shoes when he was in school because d former man without shoes almost reck our nation when he finally bought shoes....lol
