Mum Arrested As Her Children’s Bodies Are Found In Freezer (Photos)

A 35 year old woman, Mitchelle Blair, was arrested by the Detroit police after the bodies of her children were found in a freezer at the family's home on Tuesday, March 24 while officers were carrying out an eviction at the Martin Luther King townhouse.

The boy aged about 11 and a 14-year-old girl were found dead in a plastic bag and appears to have been frozen for ‘sometime’.

Police have not disclosed the mother's name, but she was identified by neighbors as Mitchelle Blair. Two of the woman's other children, aged 11 and 17, have been placed in protective custody after they were found at a neighbor's home.

Authorities report that she confessed to have strangled her son over a year ago in 2012; 9 months later she admitted to have tortured her daughter to death.

Updates say she homeschooled her children and that’s why no school reported them missing, as for people who did ask about the missing kids she would say they were staying at their aunt’s home.
